ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys

LA Fitness Facility, Indianapolis, IN

Usually shortened to “ALTA Survey”, this is a specific type of boundary survey developed by the American Land Title Association and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, in cooperation with the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). These surveys have stringent accuracy standards, and also have certain minimum requirements to show recorded easements and other encumbrances on the property as listed on the Title Insurance Commitment. They are usually prepared for the benefit of lenders as a depiction of the property being used as collateral, or for architects or engineers as a base drawing upon which to base their designs.

Our staff has extensive experience with ALTA surveys. We understand what information lenders and title companies need on their surveys, so we are able to ask the right questions, and provide our clients with an ALTA survey that meets their requirements, the first time.

We also understand that there are times when a survey must be performed on short notice. Our experience has allowed us to streamline our field and office procedures, so that we can produce ALTA surveys very quickly, in as little as one week’s time from receipt of the Title Commitment.
